Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin Star in the Pulse-Pounding First Trailer for ‘VANISHED’

If you’ve been missing the chaotic, globetrotting mystery energy of The Flight Attendant, it’s time to get excited. Kaley Cuoco is officially back in the thriller genre, and she’s brought Sam Claflin (Daisy Jones & The Six, The Hunger Games) along for the ride.

The first official trailer for the upcoming MGM+ original series VANISHED just dropped, and it promises to be our next major TV obsession.

What is Vanished About?

The trailer opens with sweeping, romantic European vistas as our two leads seem to be living the dream. “I love that we get to meet up in hotels all over the world, but I want to build a life,” Cuoco’s character tells her boyfriend, Tom (Claflin).

But the honeymoon phase ends abruptly. Tom vanishes without a trace, leaving a frantic Cuoco searching for answers. When she takes her case to the authorities, she’s met with a cynical reality check: “There are three major reasons people disappear: work, money, and relationships.”

As she begins to play amateur sleuth to find the man she loves, it becomes dangerously clear that Tom is tangled up in something massive. Between mysterious warnings to “tread carefully,” intense rooftop chases, and shocking secrets, the core question of the series is laid bare: How well do you really know the person you love?

• Cuoco in Her Element: Kaley Cuoco has perfected the role of the “everyday woman thrust into a deadly conspiracy.” She brings a grounded, panicked reality to the trailer [00:48] that anchors the high-stakes action.

• The “Nice Guy” Flip: We are used to seeing Sam Claflin as the charming romantic lead. Seeing him as a potentially dangerous enigma with a hidden past is a fantastic twist.

• The Setting: Shot across stunning international locations (we definitely spotted the coast of Marseille, France!), the show looks incredibly cinematic.
